Ribbon Trees

Miss M said, I should make 24 of them for our advent calendar. But I'm not going to make that time-wise. So I'll have to whip up something else for that, and leave these as plain winter themed "dust-gatherers", as the husband of a good friend of mine so lovingly says ;) (He actually uses the word "steh-rumchen", which, in German, sounds a lot nicer than "dust gatherers").

They do have a function apart from that though. The small bowls they're standing on are perfect for hiding sweets, a room fragrance, or..hmmm...yes, small advent surprises.
If you're interested I can write a quick tutorial. Just let me know in the comments below or by mail - I made these with ribbon and felt but some nice paper can also do the trick!
